Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Develop quantum algorithms optimizing for NISQ-era hardware limitations
- Lead quantum error correction protocol implementation
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum-classical interfaces
- Drive quantum machine learning model optimization
- Research novel quantum applications in finance, materials science, and AI
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish breakthrough research
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and error mitigation
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Proven track record of published quantum computing research
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy and fault-tolerant computing
