Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop error-correction protocols to maintain quantum coherence in large-scale systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit connectivity and gate operations
- Create quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating quantum research into production-ready systems
- Develop performance benchmarks and quantum system validation frameworks
- Drive quantum security standards for next-gen infrastructure
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm design
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience leading technical teams in research environments
- Knowledge of post-quantum cryptographic standards (NIST PQC)
