Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum circuits and error-correction protocols for industrial-scale quantum processors
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and molecular simulation
- Lead quantum hardware-software integration projects with cryogenic control systems
- Collaborate with quantum hardware teams to define qubit topologies and gate architectures
- Create quantum security frameworks for post-quantum encryption standards
- Pioneer quantum machine learning models for predictive analytics in finance and healthcare
- Mentor quantum engineering teams while publishing breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 5+ years of quantum algorithm development with demonstrated qubit manipulation expertise
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Experience with quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, ACM QCE)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
