Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for enterprise applications in finance, logistics, and AI
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum processors with 100+ qubit capabilities
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers in quantum system integration
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for real-world problem solving
- Establish quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography standards
- Collaborate with academic partners to publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Drive commercialization of quantum solutions for Fortune 500 clients
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture with demonstrated qubit scaling expertise
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with superconducting, trapped-ion, or photonic quantum systems
- Deep understanding of quantum complexity theory and quantum advantage metrics
- Track record of translating quantum research into commercial applications
