Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures with 10,000+ qubit systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for industrial-scale deployment
- Lead hybrid quantum-classical algorithm development for Fortune 500 clients
- Collaborate with hardware teams on cryogenic control systems and photonic interconnects
- Author patents for quantum security and optimization breakthroughs
- Mentor PhD-level researchers in quantum information theory
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite executives and government agencies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or superconducting qubit design
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Expertise in cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
- Track record of leading quantum computing projects with >$10M budgets
- Clearance for DoD quantum technology projects (or ability to obtain)
