Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures leveraging QIP and superconducting qubit technologies
- Develop error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and engineers in prototyping quantum algorithms
- Collaborate with NASA and DARPA on quantum-encrypted communication systems
- Optimize quantum circuits for near-term quantum advantage applications
- Document breakthrough methodologies in peer-reviewed journals and white papers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware design
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Publication record in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and topological quantum computing
- Security clearance eligibility for government-contracted projects
