Our Austin campus features state-of-the-art cryogenic labs and a 128-qubit quantum processor. You'll lead a team of PhD researchers while contributing to open-source quantum frameworks that will power the next decade of innovation.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum circuit architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop error mitigation strategies for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm optimization
- Create hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for real-world deployment
- Pioneer novel approaches to quantum machine learning and AI integration
- Contribute to IEEE quantum computing standards and open-source initiatives
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum hardware-software interfaces
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm design or quantum software development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance protocols
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Azure Quantum)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business applications
