Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processors with >1000 qubit stability
- Develop error mitigation protocols for fault-tolerant quantum networks
- Lead integration of quantum accelerators into classical HPC infrastructure
- Partner with AI teams to optimize quantum machine learning algorithms
- Author whitepapers on quantum supremacy applications for 2026 roadmap
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum principles and implementation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years implementing quantum algorithms on hardware (IBM Rigetti, IonQ, etc.)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# programming frameworks
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Certification in quantum error correction techniques
- Experience with cryogenic quantum control systems
- Proven track record of translating quantum theory to commercial applications
