Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications targeting 2026 deployment milestones
- Develop error-correction protocols and quantum algorithms to achieve fault-tolerant computation
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers in quantum system integration
- Collaborate with Fortune 500 clients to implement quantum solutions in financial modeling and drug discovery
- Research and evaluate emerging quantum technologies (photonic, topological, etc.) for commercial viability
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and investor stakeholders
- Secure and manage $2M+ annual R&D budgets for quantum innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum algorithms (Nature/Science/IEEE preferred)
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and classical HPC integration
- Experience leading teams of 10+ technical professionals in complex R&D environments
- Demonstrated ability to translate quantum concepts into business value propositions
- Security clearance eligibility for government quantum collaboration projects
- Expertise in cryogenic systems and superconducting qubit manipulation
