Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing quantum solutions across industries
- Contribute to quantum-resistant cryptographic systems post-quantum era
- Collaborate with academic institutions on quantum research breakthroughs
- Document quantum system architectures and publish whitepapers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing with demonstrable algorithm design expertise
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics and quantum information theory
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in cryptography and cybersecurity principles
- Track record of publishing in quantum computing or related fields
- Ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to non-technical stakeholders
