Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for 2026 deployment
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms solving complex optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Create security frameworks for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (photonic, topological, etc.)
- Develop roadmaps for quantum computing scalability beyond current limitations
- Collaborate with academic institutions on quantum algorithm development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel systems
- Knowledge of quantum security protocols and NIST standardization efforts
