Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum circuit architectures for 2026-era computational challenges
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Optimize qubit stability and error correction protocols for industrial-scale deployment
- Collaborate with AI researchers to integrate quantum acceleration into machine learning pipelines
- Develop patentable quantum algorithms for cryptography and simulation applications
- Translate theoretical physics models into deployable quantum hardware interfaces
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research with published peer-reviewed papers
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, or Cirq)
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments and GPU acceleration
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
- Proven ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical solutions
