Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems and machine learning applications
- Develop quantum error correction protocols to enhance computational reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into classical systems
- Research and prototype novel quantum hardware architectures for 2026-era applications
- Create and maintain quantum simulation frameworks for algorithm validation
- Lead technical documentation and knowledge sharing initiatives
- Stay current with emerging quantum computing standards and industry best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation tools
- Strong foundation in quantum mechanics and information theory
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and classical-quantum hybrid systems
- Demonstrated ability to publish in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Expertise in at least one high-level programming language (Python, C++, Rust)
- Knowledge of quantum hardware platforms (superconducting, ion trap, photonic)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and innovative thinking
