Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing hardware systems with sub-100mK cryogenic environments
- Design fault-tolerant quantum circuits and error-correction protocols for 1000+ qubit processors
- Integrate photonic and superconducting quantum modules into hybrid computing fabrics
- Develop quantum-classical co-design frameworks for real-time optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen quantum memory solutions
- Establish security protocols for quantum-encrypted communication networks
- Drive R&D initiatives in topological qubit stabilization techniques
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Proficiency in cryogenic engineering and dilution refrigerator systems
- Deep understanding of quantum machine learning frameworks (QML, QAOA)
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing
- Experience with quantum circuit optimization using Qiskit/Cirq
- Security clearance preferred for government quantum initiatives
- Fluency in Python/C++ with low-level hardware control experience
