Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing hardware architectures with >1000 qubit capacity
- Develop cryogenic control systems and quantum interconnects for distributed quantum networks Create hybrid classical-quantum algorithms for enterprise-scale optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Establish quantum security protocols resistant to 2026-era cyber threats
- Drive quantum cloud infrastructure development with sub-10ms latency requirements
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field (MS with 10+ years experience)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven track record with superconducting qubits or ion-trap systems
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
