Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-correction protocols to enhance qubit stability in 50+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with hardware team to co-design quantum-classical hybrid architectures
- Lead research initiatives in topological quantum computing implementations
- Publish findings in premier journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior researchers and drive open-source quantum software initiatives
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants through compelling proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Proven track record publishing in Nature/Science journals or equivalent tier
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum hardware platforms
- Strong Python/C++ skills with parallel computing optimization experience
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical engineering solutions
- Passion for ethical AI development and quantum security frameworks
