Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-correction protocols to stabilize qubit coherence in 50+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical control systems
- Lead open-source quantum software projects in Python and C++
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at international quantum conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation sprints
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years quantum research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum circuit design
- Proficiency with quantum frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane) and low-level quantum hardware control
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and statistical mechanics
- Publication record in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Demonstrated ability to work with cryogenic systems and microwave electronics
