Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate on quantum hardware integration with cryogenic engineering teams
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning applications
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent novel quantum methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Partner with industry leaders to develop quantum-ready software ecosystems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (superconducting or ion trap)
- Strong background in linear algebra and computational complexity theory
