Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into existing AI frameworks
- Lead research on error correction techniques for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Develop quantum machine learning models for predictive analytics
- Document research findings and publish in leading scientific journals
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
- Stay current with emerging quantum hardware architectures and protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and tensor networks
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex theoretical concepts into practical implementations
