Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum algorithms for commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and MIT Tech Review summits
- Develop IP strategy for 2026 quantum computing patents
- Mentor PhD candidates through our industry-academia fellowship program
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computational Mathematics
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with superconducting qubits or ion traps
- Published research in Nature/Science journals (minimum 3 papers)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or proprietary quantum SDKs
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain DOE Q-level clearance
- Experience securing DoE/NIST grants ($500K+ projects)
