Responsibilities

- Design and implement quantum error correction systems with 99.9% fidelity targets
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor architectures
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Secure $2M+ annual research funding through government and industry partnerships
- Mentor PhD researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
- Develop quantum security frameworks for next-gen communication networks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent high-impact journals
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary research teams of 10+ members
- Strong track record of securing government research grants
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and mitigation strategies
- US citizenship required for federal contract compliance
