Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum computing research roadmap targeting 2026 breakthroughs
- Lead 10+ quantum physicists and software engineers in algorithm development
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum machine learning models
- Secure $5M+ in research grants and partnerships with DOD/NASA
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature/Science journals
- Develop quantum-resistant cybersecurity protocols for critical infrastructure
- Mentor next-generation quantum engineers through our fellowship program
- Present findings to Congress and international tech summits
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 8+ years of quantum computing research with published algorithms
- Proven experience leading quantum hardware/software integration projects
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Strong background in cryptography and post-quantum security
- Demonstrated ability to secure federal research funding
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and superconducting qubits
