Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Lead a team of 10+ quantum physicists and software engineers
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Secure $15M+ in government and private research grants
- Partner with Fortune 500 companies to implement quantum solutions
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in top-tier journals
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and PhD candidates
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proven track record of securing major research funding
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science/Physical Review journals
