Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography, AI, and materials science applications
- Direct cross-functional teams of physicists and engineers in prototype development
- Secure $5M+ in research grants through NSF and DARPA partnerships
- Publish findings in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Advise Fortune 500 clients on quantum transition roadmaps
- Patent at least 3 novel quantum methodologies annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 8+ years of quantum computing research with 3+ in leadership
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Demonstrated ability to secure federal research funding
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems
- Strong background in error correction protocols
