Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for commercial applications in finance, logistics, and AI
- Design and implement error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and industry white papers
- Mentor a team of quantum physicists and software engineers
- Secure $5M+ in research grants and corporate partnerships
- Develop quantum security frameworks for next-gen communications

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research with published peer-reviewed papers
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven track record of securing federal or corporate research funding
- Experience leading cross-disciplinary technical teams of 10+ researchers
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
