Responsibilities
- Architect and implement novel quantum algorithms for commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional research teams in quantum cryptography and machine learning
- Develop quantum error mitigation techniques for scalable quantum systems
- Secure $5M+ in research grants through NSF and DARPA proposals
- Publish breakthrough findings in Nature Physics and Science journals
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information science
- Collaborate with Intel, IBM, and NASA on quantum-hybrid computing frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error correction
