Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and industry conferences
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from DARPA/NSF
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum machine learning
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 5+ years experience with superconducting qubit architectures
- Published 3+ peer-reviewed papers on quantum algorithms
- Expertise in Qiskit/Cirq programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes
- Proven track record of securing federal research funding
- Strong background in topological quantum computing
