What You'll Accomplish:
You will lead a multidisciplinary team of physicists and engineers to develop quantum-resistant cryptographic solutions and quantum machine learning models. Your work directly impacts national security initiatives and commercial applications in pharmaceuticals and materials science. Collaborate with MIT and Stanford researchers through our academic partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm design and optimization for fault-tolerant systems
- Manage cross-functional R&D teams developing quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Secure $5M+ in government and private research grants
- Author peer-reviewed publications in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Develop quantum cybersecurity protocols for 2026 deployment
- Coordinate with DARPA and NASA on quantum space communication projects
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven track record securing federal research funding
