Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum hardware
- Collaborate with quantum hardware teams on system integration
- Secure patents and publish in top-tier journals
- Drive commercialization of quantum solutions for finance and logistics
- Mentor junior researchers through our quantum fellowship program
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE)
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong publication record in quantum computing journals
- Experience with quantum hardware (superconducting, trapped ions)
- Proven ability to secure research grants ($500k+)
