Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and molecular modeling
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-classical hybrid computing architectures
- Secure $5M+ in federal and private research grants for 2026 technology roadmap
- Validate quantum advantage benchmarks against classical supercomputers
- Publish top-tier research in Nature/Science journals and industry whitepapers
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum error correction protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Proven track record of securing federal research grants (NSF/DOE)
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy validation methodologies
- Strong background in cryogenic quantum hardware integration
- Experience mentoring postdoctoral researchers
