Responsibilities
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams in developing quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization
- Design scalable quantum hardware architectures with error correction capabilities
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and industry white papers
- Secure $10M+ in federal grants and corporate partnerships
- Mentor PhD researchers and patent at least 3 novel quantum methodologies annually
- Drive cross-functional collaboration between AI, blockchain, and quantum teams
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (post-doc preferred)
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development or hardware design
- Proven track record of securing NSF/NIH grants or corporate R&D funding
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Published in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDKs
- Strong background in superconducting qubit manipulation or photonic quantum computing
