Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms with real-world commercial applications
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise integration
- Drive R&D initiatives to overcome quantum decoherence and error correction challenges
- Collaborate with academic institutions on quantum supremacy milestones
- Translate quantum computing concepts into patentable IP and market-ready solutions
- Present breakthrough findings to C-suite executives and industry consortiums
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research with published peer-reviewed papers
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Proven track record of leading high-stakes R&D projects
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Experience securing government/industry grants for quantum initiatives
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
