Responsibilities
- Architect and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing systems for commercial deployment by 2026
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Develop novel quantum algorithms targeting industry-specific optimization challenges
- Secure $10M+ in research funding through strategic partnerships with DARPA and NSF
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Collaborate with Fortune 500 partners to implement quantum solutions in finance and healthcare
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in quantum algorithm development and error correction techniques
- Expertise in superconducting qubit systems and cryogenic engineering
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience managing R&D teams with $5M+ budgets
- Deep understanding of quantum machine learning frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
