You will architect next-generation quantum processors, design error-corrected qubit architectures, and publish groundbreaking research in Nature Physics. Our Austin-based lab offers state-of-the-art facilities and collaborative partnerships with MIT, Caltech, and NASA JPL.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical applications in drug discovery and optimization
- Lead development of fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical computing systems
- Author peer-reviewed publications and secure DARPA/NSF grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and ACM SIGGRAPH
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological qubit design
- Proficiency in Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science journals
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems
- Strong background in machine learning for quantum data
