Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to mitigate decoherence and improve qubit stability
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international quantum computing conferences
- Secure and manage government/private research grants for 2026 quantum initiatives
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming and experimental methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing specialization
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Publication record in quantum computing or theoretical physics
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning algorithms
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and statistical mechanics
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
- Proven ability to secure research funding and manage complex projects
