Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead research initiatives in quantum supremacy applications for finance, logistics, and materials science
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international quantum computing conferences
- Develop simulation frameworks for quantum hardware validation and benchmarking
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent filings for novel quantum methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with high-performance computing environments and parallel processing
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
