Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams to develop quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols

- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise clients
- Secure $5M+ in government grants and private funding for quantum initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and error correction techniques
- Published record in quantum algorithm development or quantum simulation
- Proficiency with high-performance computing clusters and quantum annealing systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, statistical mechanics, and computational complexity
- Experience securing federal research grants (NSF, DoE, DARPA preferred)
- Deep knowledge of quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
