Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop error-corrected quantum processors
- Lead research on quantum supremacy benchmarks and practical use cases
- Publish findings in Nature Physics/Science and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional AI/ML teams
- Secure NSF and DARPA grants for quantum innovation projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development using Qiskit/Cirq
- Published research in quantum computing or top-tier CS conferences
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing frameworks
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
