Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Design error-corrected quantum circuits using superconducting qubits

- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present at IEEE/APS conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation
- Secure NSF/NIH grants for quantum-computing initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Published work in quantum information science
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction protocols
- Strong Python/C++ programming and Linux environments
- US citizenship or permanent residency required for clearance
