Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Develop advanced error correction techniques to enhance qubit stability and coherence times
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into practical quantum processor architectures
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives targeting fault-tolerant quantum computing milestones
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international quantum conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation through quantum programming frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of quantum research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics, information theory, and computational complexity
- Track record of publishing high-impact research in quantum computing or adjacent fields
- Experience with cryogenic systems, microwave engineering, or quantum hardware integration
