Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for scalable quantum systems
- Collaborate with AI researchers to integrate quantum computing with machine learning frameworks
- Lead experimental validation of quantum algorithms on our proprietary hardware
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Secure research grants and partnerships with government agencies
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum physics and computational theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years postdoctoral experience
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithm development (QAOA, VQE, etc.)
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and classical simulation tools
- Strong publication record in quantum computing research
- Demonstrated ability to secure competitive research funding
- Experience with cryogenic quantum system maintenance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for ethical technology development and responsible innovation
