Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex computational challenges
- Lead experimental research on quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical computing frameworks
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Develop quantum software tools and SDKs for enterprise applications
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum methodologies and architectures
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to technical roadmap development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years research experience
- Proven expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware architectures and decoherence challenges
- Published research in quantum information theory or quantum algorithms
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and computational complexity
- Experience with cloud-based quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
