Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims on proprietary hardware
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to hybridize quantum-classical computing workflows
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure $2M+ in research funding through NSF and DARPA proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and QIS frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Published work in Nature/Science journals or equivalent quantum computing venues
- Mastery of quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Deep understanding of quantum machine learning architectures
- Experience with cryogenic systems and microwave control engineering
