Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop error-correction techniques to enhance quantum system stability and scalability
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to prototype and test quantum circuits on superconducting and photonic platforms
- Lead research initiatives focused on quantum supremacy demonstrations and practical quantum advantage
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development for proprietary quantum technologies
- Stay current with emerging quantum frameworks like Qiskit, Cirq, and Q#
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field with 3+ years of research experience
- Deep expertise in quantum information theory, quantum algorithms, and quantum error correction
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (QASM, OpenQASM) and simulation tools
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or related high-impact journals
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ) preferred
