Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization
- Lead quantum error-correction research achieving >99.9% fidelity thresholds
- Collaborate with hardware teams on quantum processor prototyping and testing
- Develop novel quantum machine learning frameworks for predictive analytics
- Secure $2M+ in federal grants for quantum computing initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Author breakthrough publications in Nature/Science journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Mathematics with quantum focus
- 5+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and Q# frameworks
- Published peer-reviewed quantum computing research (3+ papers)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Strong background in quantum hardware integration (superconducting/ion traps)
- Experience with high-performance quantum simulation tools
