Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for optimization and machine learning applications
- Design quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to translate theoretical models into experimental setups
- Secure and manage research partnerships with academic institutions
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents
- Mentor junior researchers and PhD candidates
- Present findings at international conferences (IEEE Quantum Week, APS March Meeting)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm implementation
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, Physical Review X)
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex probability theory
- Track record of securing research funding (NSF, DOE, DARPA)
