Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical industrial applications
- Lead experimental quantum hardware validation and performance optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate theoretical models into scalable solutions
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Develop quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for enterprise clients
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to our open-source quantum framework
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum hardware
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems or superconducting qubits preferred
- Ability to secure DoD or DOE clearances if required
