Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-correction protocols to enhance quantum gate fidelity beyond 99.9%

- Lead research publications in top-tier quantum computing journals and conferences
- Translate theoretical models into practical quantum applications for enterprise clients
- Secure federal and private research grants for quantum computing initiatives
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory and experimental physics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years of research experience
- Published work in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in linear algebra, statistical mechanics, and complexity theory
- Demonstrated ability to secure NSF or DARPA research grants
- Expertise in machine learning applications for quantum system optimization
- Patent portfolio in quantum technologies or related fields preferred
