Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems in finance, logistics, and drug discovery
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum processors operating at 100+ qubit scale
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-generation quantum hardware interfaces
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security frameworks for 2026 infrastructure
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science through our fellowship program
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum gate decomposition and circuit optimization techniques
- Published work in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum computing journals
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum simulation frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic quantum processor testing environments
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Demonstrated ability to secure $1M+ in quantum research grants
