Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Lead research projects in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to develop quantum software stacks for proprietary quantum processors
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier scientific journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development for quantum innovations
- Stay abreast of emerging quantum technologies and industry standards
- Develop quantum software frameworks compatible with leading quantum computing platforms
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field with 3+ years of quantum research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational complexity theory
- Proven track record of publishing high-impact quantum computing research
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ) or quantum simulators
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and classical-quantum hybrid systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
- Preferred: Experience with quantum cryptography or quantum machine learning
